CREATIVE DIRECTOR / DESIGNER
Bryce Henderson is an award-winning designer and creative director with more than 20 years of strategic branding, design and marketing experience. Henderson designed and managed creative content for industry heavyweights such as The PGA of America, Digital Domain, and the ASR GRoup.
Immediately upon graduating the Savannah College of Art & Design in 1997 with a BFA in Computer Art, Mr. Henderson chose to dive into his career while most of his classmates where off backpacking in Europe. His work ethic, persistence and professionalism landed him his first post-graduate position with a start-up bottled water company, FIJI Water. Mr. Henderson was the second hire filling multiple roles in distribution management, product sales and marketing. This brief introduction into the exciting world of start-ups and launching a new product immediately jump started his career.
In 1999 Mr. Henderson accepted a position with another exciting start-up as the design lead at Jester Digital. This role continued him down the path of launching and marketing a new company, while also utilizing his design education to dictate the look and feel of all promotional and online marketing material. Jester Digital was a multi-faceted company pioneering the online gaming, 3D chat room and online music download sector ( pre-Napster ) partnering with the likes of Metallica & Nelly.
Immediately following Jester Digital, Henderson took on the role as Senior Designer for the Fine Art Exposition Division of DMG World Media. Mr. Henderson directed the online and print campaigns for several of the most prestigious high-end art expositions in the country such as Art Palm Beach, ARTform and The New York Fall Art & Antiques Fair.
Mr. Henderson has a passion for golf and helped lead his college golf team within strokes of a NCAA Division III Championship. When offered the Senior Designer position at the The PGA of America, he jumped at the opportunity. While at the PGA, Mr. Henderson was responsible for the concept, creation, and production of PGA’s marketing and advertising including marquis events such as the 2006 Grand Slam of Golf Tournament and the 67th Senior PGA Championship. Mr. Henderson’s innovative merchandise designs for the 67th Sr. PGA Championship generated the highest sales of branded merchandise in the history of the Tour.
In 2011 Bryce was recruited to the Creative Director/Designer role at Digital Domain, an award-winning visual effects company founded by James Cameron. Digital Domain has delivered innovative visuals for more than 100 movies including “Iron Man 3”, the “Transformers” series and “Titanic”. Mr. Henderson led a creative team responsible for the marketing of several key campaigns and projects including the “Virtual New York Mets”, the brand design and marketing campaign for the Digital Domain Institute and Digital Domain Park, the NY Mets spring training facility.
Henderson has brought his creative talent and vast marketing experience to his own venture, Bryce Design Group.
